The hotel is super clean! The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety for everyone. Staff was wonderful! I didn't like the upstairs bar 😕 15$ for a cocktail that maybe had a gnatts butt of alcohol.

As soon as I checked in, there was a strong, unpleasant smell, and the floor was still wet. I immediately requested a room change, which they accommodated, but the new room had the same odor. I didn’t want to ask for another change, so I just stayed, but it seemed like the smell came from dirty mop water mixed with bleach. The location was decent, and overall, the hotel was fine, but their response to this odor issue was disappointing. Also, as an Expedia Gold member, I was supposed to receive vip benefits, but there was no mention of this at check-in. The rooftop bar had a great night view, but they only served drinks—no snacks—and it closed at 11:00 pm, so I’d recommend going early. Drinks were slightly pricier than nearby restaurants, but the atmosphere was nice. Overall, a few aspects were underwhelming.

Berklee or Bust

Popped in to Valencia to explore at the weekend. My son is interested in attending Berklee and its in a great location. A 5 min walk from hotel Barcelo which had great spacious rooms. The breakfast was quite something and the staff are super friendly. The only knock was my water was barely warm in my shower. The rooftop deck provides a good view and a draught beer was 5 euro. Fun stay in a super clean hotel.
