Immaculate but just ok. Depends on your needs

Not typical European beach town. The beach was a sand beach and water was warm and clear in mid September. The hotel is 5 starts but did not feel luxurious as other 5 star European hotels. Facility was very large but immaculate. Staff were nice. Somewhat attentive…not as you would expect for 5 stars though. City center/old town is more charming and a 20 minute taxi to the beach.

Hotel is lovely, even if rooms are a little dated. Cleanliness and hotel staff are excellent as is the spa and hairdressers. Room service and cleaning staff excellent as are the reception and lobby team including the bar and outside waiting staff. Location to beach is excellent. Only real negative is the restaurant - management and food is not as expected. All dishes were over seasoned with salt and some of the dishes were not fresh. It maybe a franchise or out source but it really lets the hotel down. 5 stars all round if we'd not usd the restaurant We will stay again but not use the restaurant.

The pool is enormous! I love how close it was to the restaurants in the beach. I had an incredible time. I plan to return one day! Very easy commute to all museums via taxi or uber. Also near the buses but we didn’t take those
