Nice apartment with great location

The best thing with this apartment is the location near the entrance to Valletta. You can easily walk in the town or take a bus anywhere in Malta. The landlord was there to meet us whwn we arrived, gave us useful hints and was always available when needed.

Don't stay here!!!

WE have been fortunate enough to have stayed at over 100 properties using Hotels.com over the last ten years. This is the first negative review we have submitted. The manager Cliff is unbelievably rude and incapable of holding a civil conversation! My wife accidentally broke a mirror in the bathroom mistakenly thinking it was a shaving cabinet with storage behind. I attempted to contact Cliff and on the fifth call he finally picked up and proceeded to advise that if the mirror wasn't paid for in full by 2pm the next day we would be evicted with no refund. He stated that he had received approval from Hotels.com for this course of action which was blatantly untrue. After stating that my wife must have been insane (yes insane) for assuming that a bathroom with no other storage could possibly have a shaving cabinet, he proceeded to rant and rave. It got to the point that I placed my phone on loud speaker so that the friends we were with could hear the tirade, at the end of which he hung up. They were dumb founded. A quick search on the manufacturers website showed that the mirror, which was connected to mains electricity, had been installed incorrectly. I'm sure that the new mirror which we did end up paying for has been installed to manufacturers specifications. There are hundreds of options for accommodation in the nearby area. There are also many fantastic management operations in the area that any owner should consider instead of this buffoon!

Zimmer sehr traditionel und schon eingerichtet. Der ein oder andere Schönheitsmakel, was aber vollkommen OK ist. Gute Ausstattung, für den kalten Boden evtl. Sandalen oder Hausschuhe mitnehmen. Personal sehr freundlich und Host gut erreichbar. Perfekte Lage direkt in Valletta. Taxi zum Flughafen 10min. Kosten ca 10€. Kleiner Hinweis, Strom funktioniert nur mit der Zimmerkarte im Schacht neben der Tür. Zimmer etwas hellhörig, aber so viel Zeit verbringt man dort eh nicht. Sehr zu empfehlen. City Tax 1,50€ p.P. pro Nacht.

très bel appartement super bien placé, proximité centre ville et jardins Barrakka. Très propre et confortable. Clean modern apartment with a super comfy bed. The location is great -- a quarter mile from the cathedral/grand master's palace in one direction and a quarter mile from the bus station so that you can sightsee other parts of the island. Everything worked (internet, TV, appliances, lift). Maid service every day. Mostly a quiet neighborhood except when there was an outdoor concert at the Barrakka Gardens at the weekend. We felt very safe. The only downside is the actual location is down a small side street and looks unprepossing -- the taxi driver from the cruise terminal didn't know the address so had to call, plus sometimes the street is blocked off for cars (much of Valletta is pedestrianized). Oh, plus I'd like to see a grab bar in the shower (I'm a senior with poor balance).

The suites are nicely located not far from the city gates, bourse, and ferry lift but yet in a quiet area, so it’s a good base for Valletta and beyond. It’s a couple short blocks away from car access, FYI. The property is well put together, functional, and updated. Comfortable. The host Cliff was easy to reach with questions s before and during our stay, and he graciously helped us out when our flight got cancelled and we had to update the stay at the last minute. The suites are self-catering like an apartment rental but they do make the beds and clean each day like a hotel. The kitchenette has everything you need except a way to make coffee, like a moka pot. There is a water boiler if you use instant coffee. There is also a Nespresso machine, but Nespresso pods are near impossible to find in Valletta or neighboring Floriana. They will sell you pods for €0.60 each if you arrange in advance — a hassle. Also, the Expedia listing says laundry facilities are available, which is misleading. You can’t do your own laundry there; either you arrange with housekeeping to do it at €2 per item or go a few blocks away to the laundromat on St Pawl. The description should be fixed to not imply you can do laundry onsite as is typical of apartment rentals.

Dejlig lejlighed - god hjælp til at komme til lejligheden fra lufthavnen og ind i lejligheden. Lejligheden har en perfekt placering rimeligt centralt i Valletta og med den komfort der kan ønskes af personer som nyder at gå rundt i området. Gepflegte Unterkunft mit einigen Makken

Im Winter nicht zu empfehlen, da Heizung nur während Aufenthalt in Wohnung funktioniert und es im Bad gar keine Heizung gibt. Die Wohnung war bei Ankunft komplett ausgekühlt und aufgrund des Geräuschs der Klimaanlage konnte man nachts auch nicht heizen. Das Gebäude erreicht man durch eine sehr schmale Tür, viele Treppen, kein Geländer - für ältere Personen problematisch. Manches ist für Nicht-Engländer erklärungsbedürftig, z.B. separater Knopf zur Aktivierung der Elektrizität für die Klimaanlage/Heizung (zus. zu Fernbedienung). Keine Rezeption, kein verschliessbarer Gepäckraum. Verbindungsflur bei Buchung zwei nebeneinander liegender Suiten nicht verschliessbar.
