Cozy 2-bedroom cabin on the river in Vancleave

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom cabin in Vancleave. Nestled in the woods, this lovely space features two queen beds and four twin beds, perfect for families or groups. With two bathrooms, guests can enjoy added convenience during their visit. The cabin offers excellent heating and air conditioning, ensuring comfort no matter the season. Relax in a fantastic setting that feels both cozy and inviting on the screened-in wraparound porch. With a view of the river and private, wooded location down a private residence's gated driveway, this is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. The living room has a large sectional that can be used for sleeping if needed. We just ask that you use the provided sheets in the ottoman. This cabin also has a washer/dryer for longer staying guests. The TV is a smart TV with access to free movies and streaming services.

To get to this cabin, guests will drive down our personal driveway and pass by our residential home. This cabin is tucked away from the other cabins for privacy and space. This cabin is the largest of our three nature-based rentals located on our property. Lighting at night is minimal to promote great sleep and a stunning lightning bug display. If you are walking around after dark, you'll need a flashlight to navigate. There is no pathway lighting down to the dock.

There is a firepit with wood provided. Guests also have access to our private dock via a short walk down the boardwalk. The dock is great for fishing and has a kayak launch for easy paddling access. If guests choose to paddle river, we highly encourage following water safety precautions. This cabin is located in wooded area where guests can enjoy bird song, watch butterflies, rabbits, the occasional deer and other wildlife. Please respect all wildlife. Observe from a distance and pay attention to your surroundings.

Guests are welcome to bring their boat and trailer. There is a boat located in town about 10 minutes from the cabin. Once in the water, our dock is short boat ride down the river (~3-4 minutes). Trailers can be parked in the powerline or in the center area of the driveway for easy trailer maneuvering. There is also a hose located nearby for rinsing. Give us a heads up and we can assist you with more parking information.

This property is on a septic system and require delicate care. Only flush the provided toilet paper. DO NOT flush wipes of any kind, PLEASE. You'll break our septic and that's not fun for anyone involved...

Please know, we have two dogs that live with us at our private residence on the property that will be leashed when outside with us. We love dogs, but unfortunately we do not allow guests to bring dogs during their stay with us.
