Early check-in the day before, I thought would be an easy at hotel. The clerk could not find reservation, questioned if I had a reservation and eventually found the paperwork already completed and waiting. Issue is clerk at hotel.

Paid for an Executive King room, bed was horrible, and I listened to a beeping noise every 15 mi utes all night until I got up and went to the desk to ask for a different room. There were no Kings available, so I ended up in a queen room, but the night attendent at the desk could not refund me for difference in price.

The plumbing in the room was terrible. The toilet ran all night and the bathtub was so clogged it took a half an hour to drain from one shower to the next. We had 2 queen beds and my husband’s bed had sand or something like that in the sheets. When trying to find a news station, it had all the usual ones however Fox was ‘unavailable’. It really ticks me off when a business such as the motel makes its political view so apparent by blocking a news station. I am not one to complain as a general rule. Your job is hard and I recognize that. That being said, if that is the way La Quinta operates, squelching my ability to watch my chosen news outlet due to THEIR political beliefs I can assure we will never stay at another property owned by Wyndham. I may only be one person who will no longer use your properties but I do know many people who share my values and beliefs and I can assure you I will absolutely share my experience.
