Excellent service from the time we got checked in. We were able to check in early which was a huge help for us and we got upgraded to an ocean view as a surprise for my daughter. It was a wonderful experience for us, just not long enough. We will be back!

We arrived early in the day and they stored our luggage until the rooms were ready. The hotel was full that weekend as they had both a convention and several cruise ships docking along with a wedding. They let us into the rooms as they became available, even though it was before check in time which given we’d been traveling for 12 hours when we arrived was truly appreciated. It took a while for one of our rooms to be ready, not until 1/2 hour after check in time but they upgraded that room, which was really awesome.

Since we were embarking on a cruise, the location of the hotel atop the cruise port and the luggage service were the biggest selling points. The room was big and comfortable with a nice view. However, when we arrived late the night we checked in, there was no signage where the check-in desk was nor any staff immediately available. But once we encountered staff, they were immensely helpful. The elevators were horrible. One elevator was out of service so the remaining elevator was slow and crowded. The main glassed-in hall looking over the cruise port was amazing.

Spectacular view from our beautiful room. Unfortunately only 2 lifts were working when we arrived and so we had to wait a long time each time we wanted to use them. We were woken at 6am by the children of the family in the next room who were repeatedly knocking on their door, going in and out of the room and closing the door loudly and speaking loudly.

We had the breakfast buffet and were very underwhelmed. The hot food wasn’t hot. The scrambled eggs were running and cold, and the potatoes were soggy and Luke warm. For the cost ($37) per person I was expecting better quality of food. On the positive, the orange juice was delicious and the croissants were perfect. I would recommend walking across the street and get breakfast from Tim Hortons. We did order room service for dinner (steak frites), and I thought it was very good. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were awful. Would I stay here again, yes but would not eat their buffet.
