The suites offered are dated and not clean. Staff was nice enough to shuffle us around the resort finally ending up in a room half the size only to be compensated with a $150 food voucher. My Expedia experience of late has been the hotel puts you in the worst rooms. I hope this gets better in the future

The room given to us was obviously was inspected or preppared prior to our arrival. The room has an unbearable odor/smell. Request for a room change and they refused to switch our room due to full booking. At least that is what they said. They said they will try the next day. They didn't contact us for a room change the next day. Basically we were in a smelly room the whole stay.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities and a very good steak restaurant. Room was clean. Bathroom was well equipped. Only reason for not giving too marks were it was quite difficult to get to on public transport and the walk from nearest train station was a good 30 minutes. Also no usb points in the room meant it was difficult to charge phones. Staff helped by lending a plug in charger.

I am not an expert on checking every little detail about a room or the property so to me, it was great and had everything I needed. However, I can definitely make an educated review about the customer service. My husband and I stayed 2 nights, and it didn't matter what time it was everyone on shift was STELLAR in their service. I was able to do an early check-in despite being almost 4 hours early. I didn't get any hesitation or "attitude" or lack of interesting in wanting to acommodate us. On the contrary, the receptionist was so cool saying it was no problem at all. For the rest of our stay, we got so many tips and hacks on how to enjoy the city and get the most out of short stay. They gave us recommendations to the best places to visit, where to go eat, what to avoid, etc. The wonderful staff turned us into locals by the time our trip was over. We will stay at Sandman Signature everytime we go to Vancouver!!!!!

Good place to stay if you want to be close to the airport. Shuttle was very handy. Uber ride to DT Vancouver is ~$40. Or you can take a $7 Uber to the nearest SkyTrain station and be downtown in 20 minutes for half the cost. Property is on this highway, which is also very convenient. Only downside to the property is also the proximity to the airport. Depending on how light of a sleeper you might be, those planes can keep you up as you can hear them taking off.

Not the best and not the worst

The room was dusty, the carpet is super dirty and old needs to be replaced, the shower is clogged, and the sink faucet releases too fast and strong spraying the water all over the countertop. Their pools reeks with bleach and could use a renovation. Service was mediocre nothing outstanding.

Nice hotel, large with two great pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Suite was very spacious and nicely decorated with big windows. Kitchenette supplies were limited but staff was prompt to bring missing items. Good stay overall!
