Excellent month in paradise

Great villa, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.Quite area surrounded by jungle.Kris and Jeff, onsite hosts, were very friendly and helpful.Only side note, a car is a necessity.

Private and secluded with swimming pools and a restaurant

Things we appreciated: - The property manager is wonderful. They greeted us when we arrived and went out of their way to help us with our bags and groceries. They kept in tough throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. - The condo is newer construction and very nice! All the rooms have A/C, there is a washer and dryer, plenty of bed linens and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the hammock on the front patio. - Just a few steps to one of the pools, which has a baby/toddler area and was perfect for our little one. - The onsite restaurant was a convenient relief on nights when we didn't feel like cooking. Note that the menu is limited and they only accept cash (Colones or USD). Things that could have made our stay better: - Absolutely top of this list is you MUST have a vehicle or be prepared to pay exhorbitant fees to private shuttle companies to go anywhere. The listing says the location is "remote" but doesn't tell you that you are completely isolated without a vehicle. We didn't realize we would need one. The nearest decent-sized town is 45 mintues away (Santa Cruz). For these reasons we gave a lower rating. The property manager was very kind and helped us a few times by picking up essential items while they were out in town. (Thank you!) Overall this was a great place for us. We would recommend it to people who desire an experience that is private and secluded.
