The property is old but decent. Enough space for a family of 3. Just the shower tile is slippery. The room is just hot and i'm not sure if air con was working. Breakfast was included and it was great (breads, yogurt, cereals, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, and fruits) Location for us is very convenient. 3 min walk from the Sta. Lucia train station. Since we travelled via train, it was a great location with so many dining options nearby. If anyone is travelling with a lot of luggage and via train station, i highly recommend to stay close to the station without taking the ferry. I see a lot of people carrying their luggages in the bridge and there is so many stairs. It is easier to travel inside the town of san marco or rialto without dragging your luggages. So far it was a good stay.

Hotel was perfect for what I paid for. It was convenient. It was a three minute walk from the metro station. When you get to the hotel your greeted by friendly staff. They did have an elevator.

I booked the double room and from the pictures, the room looks spacious enough but the actual room given to us was tooooo small. We can barely open the door of the bathroom because the bed is right in front of it. We need to go side ways to go out of the bathroom. We also can't open our luggages comfortably because there is only very little space in the room. We went to the front desk to ask for a different room because the one I booked was definitely not it and we were told we will be transferred in the morning since they are fully booked that night (mind you there was a walk in guest who is inquiring and he told him they have available room). I just did not want to cause a commotion so I said okay, we'll wait till the morning but the other staff in the morning told us the guy in the evening shift did not make a transfer request for us so now the rooms are booked. The room also says it has an air conditioning unit but there was none, there was a small tiny electric fan. We can't also leave the windows open because there no screen and some bugs can enter while we sleep. We were so uncomfortable the whole time but we just suck it up to not ruin our trip.

Good basic hotel. Staff were great. Beds comfortable. Room and bathroom very small. Couldn't open window to open shutters because of the mosquitoes so it was very dark during the day. Bathroom completely tiled and grout was dirty.

Wanted the sense of being in Venice, this hotel is on a main walkway so it is a bit noisy (room is well soundproofed when windows are closed) but good meal choices nearby and a market. Close to Grand Canal and train, bus stations.

Great place in the heartvof Venice!

Really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect budget hotel right in the heart of Venice! It is very basic, so maybe not right if you prefer to relax in the hotel a lot, but if you just want a safe comfortable place to stay in the city this is a great choice. Staff were so nice and went above and beyond to help. Location is PERFECT! Just minutes walking from the bus stop, ferry station, and train station, so however you arrive, its easy to get to. You can easily explore the streets of venice from here by foot or it's close to a waterbus stop if you prefer. As I said, it is basic, so there is no microwave, kettle, or fridge, or temp control in the rooms, so it did quite stuffy, but the bed was very comfortable snd the staff gave us a fan to use to help with the air. If you want to stay in the city of Venice but can't afford the other prices you're seeing, this is a really great option and i highly recommend. One word of caution though - the website is outdated. It says they offer breakfast as well as airport pickup, which they apparently no longer do, just FYI.

Best place for stay in Venice

Amazing location. Walking distance to everything important. We walked from cruise port. Used train station. And see Venice st Lucia. I love the hotel. Room super clean. Staff very friendly and helpful

This was our third stay here! We love the close location to the train station and bus to the airport. Also the boat taxi is only a few minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Rooms provide minimal amenities with older decor but perfect for a couple of nights. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They also provide breakfast although we have not taken it. I will definitely stay here again!
