The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and included premium products. The breakfast was delicious and included a large variety of choices. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is the perfect choice for a Venice stay. Conveniently located. Would highly recommend.

I forgot my purse in my hotel room because I had an early check out to catch water taxi and train to go to Rome. Then I called the hotel to let them know that I left my purse( hung on the wall cuz the room is small) but they told me there was no purse found in the room. I lost a purse , a wallet with some cash , credit card , driver license and medical card and lipsticks. I also wrote to hotel and requested for an investigation but they never responded back. I wished they were able to Check their camera To see i wore my purse when I last entered the room but didn’t have it when I walked out on that early morning to Check out This is such a bad experience for me. So please be careful for your valuables items at this hotel.

The description was very accurate. We knew going in we would be in the Annex building, up 3 flights of stairs, with no elevator. Front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. Very close to St. Mark's Square. Rooms small, but expected that in Venice. Was clean, charming and appreciated the 2 bottles of complimentary water in the fridge.

Great stay. Lots of dining and bar options everywhere. Major attractions are only a ~5 minute walk away. The bed had some sort of mattress topper that was extremely comfortable. We are from the U.S. and most of the hotels we stayed in during this Europe trip had hard beds, but Hotel Montecarlo had the most comfortable bed. Being from the U.S., we also really appreciated how big the bathroom and shower was. Compared to other European showers, ours was huge. It made the experience very comfortable.

The breakfast was lovely and they provided afternoon tea each day also. The staff were very good and reception was available 24 hours. Great location. 2 minutes from St Marks Square. The room was quite small but ok for a 2 day stay.

Charming hotel with friendly staff

Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel made our trip easy and fun! We didn’t even have to ask for recommendations as they were proactive about suggesting things to do. Wonderful breakfast every morning. And right in the heart of San Marco.

breakfast was very good and many choices, scrambled eggs, meat, cereals, fresh fruit, cappuccino machine, espresso, tea,pastries, and croissants.. juice.. there was even an afternoon tea between four and six. We could get cappuccino espresso and pastries or tea... two bottles of water in the room.. extremely walkable very close to the waterfront for taxis and getting around if you wanted to do tours walkable to Saint Marks Basilica... highly recommend room was very comfortable. That was comfortable pillows were comfortable. It was even a window for fresh air no view, but I appreciated the window.... highly recommend and would stay here again if ever back in Venice.
