Been here 3 times over the years. Great room before this trip. This time not so good. Ground floor rear looking at wall. This has put us off now. Asked for upstairs room and said was full. Only here for two nights so put up with it. Was thinking of moving on early but jet lag and tired kept us here. Staff are nice. Wc was not working as it should. Rooms need upgrade. Besides that we do like this town to start our 30 day road trip of California. Nice small breakfast just enough to start the day. Thanks

This hotel has an old world charm. The atrium is a nice place for breakfast. Our room was clean and had a private balcony. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Staff was friendly. However, the hotel and rooms are old, dated, and in need of a major remodel. The furniture is worn. The bed/mattress sits on metal springs that make noise with every move. The bathroom was awful with poorly done repairs. Both the mini frig and A/C Heater units made noises all night. The breakfast was cold breads and cereals. For what should be a beautiful hotel - this is on par with a Motel 6.

When we arrived at 3pm, the room was not ready yet so had to wait about 20 minutes. I personally do not care about waiting so was OK. Only thing I was concerned about was that the hotel has no private parking lot. We had to park at the public parking which was next to the hotel. There were several homeless at the park and the surrounding areas. Was bit concerned about our car and safety.

Overall the whole hotel needs major renovation. Room was old not updated. Bathtub faucets old and not working very well as well as the sink faucet, counter, lighting. Furniture was old so out dated. Cracks in walls, flooring, such a very small room tv and the list goes on. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends, or family. Breakfest not much offered.

The room needs better door insulation, the winds keep rattling the door. The bathroom mirror has a lot of paint peeling off, not very pleasant to look at. The tub was clean but had a matted look to it?? The refrigerator made a lot of water noises all night. The hallways are dark…. Great for Halloween?? The hotel needs to be spruced up. But it was clean in the room and the grounds. The jacuzzi had a yellow green tint, it needs a deep clean on those walls. I went to dinner and the only parking spots open were by the homeless hanging out by their cars. I opted for parking on the street next to the hotel entrance. Cute hotel, but needs to be updated to feel clean and safe. The fireplace was great! The breakfast had waffles but no eggs and bacon like other hotels. oatmeal packets and bagels with fresh fruit were offered too. My yogurt was 2 weeks expired though. Good thing I checked the date.
