Welcome to Camp David at Harman's Harbor where the livin' is easy. Start your day with morning coffee on the front patio, spend the afternoon at our neighborhood's private beach*, grill something delicious for dinner on the propane grill. End your day watching the sunset at the gazebo overlooking Lake Erie.

Located just 2 miles west of Historic Downtown Vermilion, you can enjoy everything this charming small town has to offer. Stroll through the small shops, enjoy an ice cream cone or dine at one of the many restaurants. Rent a kayak, paddle board or jet ski, or enjoy a cruise on the Mystic Belle featuring a tour of the Vermilion River and Lagoons. Visit one of the several wineries nearby, or "play a round" at one of the many public golf courses in the area. Camp David is the perfect starting off point for a visit to Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge or the CP Sport Force Complex, all within a 30 minute drive. You can even plan a day trip to the Lake Erie Islands - the island ferries are just 40 minutes away by car.

Our cottage is small but mighty, providing everything needed for a small family or 4 adults. There are 2 bedrooms with one bedroom being open to the living room. The bathroom is accessible from either bedroom. Camp David's open floor plan makes meal prep easy. The kitchen is equipped with an electric range, full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. Pots, pans, dishes and serving utensils are also included.

The back yard features a picnic table, seating area and a fire pit. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided as are all linens

Our hope is that you enjoy Camp David and Harman's Harbor neighborhood as much as we do!

* Size of beach depends on Mother Nature and the Lake Erie water levels.

Lovely beach getaway

We had an amazing week stay at this cozy Vermilion cottage. It was the perfect size for my family (2 Adults and our 13 month old). The owner was very sweet and was quick to answer any questions we had. We didn’t want to leave!

Vermillion cottage

Cute cottage just a short walk to the neighborhood beach. While the beach is rather small, there’s a nice seating area under a shelter in a grassy area up the steps from the beach We enjoyed watching the sunset. The neighbors who lived near the park were very welcoming. We enjoyed Vermilion and Sandusky. Sunsets, Eagle watching, golfing, wine tasting, beach yoga, bike rides. The host was very accommodating and dropped off a hairdryer for me. We really had a great time.

Girls Trip

Your property was exactly what we were looking for. Centrally located for food, shopping, lighthouses, and wineries. We were able to relax on the beach and the hill top. Observed beautiful sunsets. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with very friendly. Thanks neighbors

A Gem on Lake Erie!

We rented this cottage for the week of the 4th to have overflow capacity for our family. It worked out great! The cottage was wonderful, and close to our other house. Located close to Vermilion and Cedar point, many options are available including great restaurants. The host was very nice and available when needed! A few minute walk from the cottage is a private beach and gazebo directly on Lake Erie! Do not hesitate to book this!

Great proximity to Lake Erie!

Walked a short distance to sit in a community gathering spot to watch the sun set on Lake Erie. We were joined by neighbors who shared wine with us...very nice!

Get Away

We stayed here for a midweek get away. The cottage is very cute and it is a short walk up the private drive to Lake Erie. Mary Beth was very easy to work with. Nice area to explore. We would stay here again.

Getting together for a family get-together: alternative to a hotel

The property was designed as a fun-place and vacation set-up. We enjoyed it .... we were less than 2 hours away from home... we were impressed on how it was set-up. There was also a list of activities/restaurants that we could partake in.... those little extras meant a lot.
