It was okay. The staff was sometimes kind sometimes rude. Location good. The room was only cleaned once during our stay. Only 1 bottle of water provided for the whole stay. The bed was comfortable.

I concur with some "recent" reviews prior to ours that our overall ck in was less than expected based on extensive reviews before we booked. The female front desk staff was very flat handed us the key with really no welcome or info about anything in hotel. In "writing" from Expedia we showed a booking for a room with a balcony/city view in which the staff indicated we did not have a reservation? We booked 3 mos in advance. Either Expedia misrepresented this info on there website or the hotel denied us what we paid for which I will take up with Expedia.Our room did have a city view only no balcony. I could nickpik minor things but ultimately the room was clean.We never went back down and dealt with front desk again until ck out. Now what saved this hotel from a low rating was the downstairs breakfast staff and how delightful and attentive they were to all. The selection and variety of all options of food had a wonderful presentation and they worked very hard to keep everything clean plus they were engaging. A special shout out to Rosita whos personality shines and made our experience delightful every morning. Location a plus, safe area and clean.

Convenient location for all the sights. A very impersonal and unfriendly hotel. We paid extra for a room with a view, the floor was dirty and there were no refreshments (tea & coffee) available. We mentioned it at reception and it was not well recieved and we were told to call housekeeping. We expected more as this is a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was average, nothing special with over cooked eggs and tinned sausages. The staff were not friendly or interested and the sauna facilities poor. Im sure that there are far nicer places with better facilities for the price so dont waste your money here.
