I had a lovely, fuss-free experience at the Hotel Pension Museum. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I booked a single room but was given a (massive) double room with a balcony! Comfy beds, no air-con which I imagine could be a problem in the summer, but I just opened the door to the balcony and it was quiet enough that this didn't pose an issue. Very very convenient area if you are planning to visit lots of museums / the city centre. The free breakfast and coffee machine is also a nice perk. I would definitely return. Thanks!

You name it and I will tell you I like it. Location? - nothing better to dream about: quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees, fresh air, easy to reach everything you need… Rooms? - clean and cozy with comfortable beds and sofas, with snowwhite “my grandma’s” style curtains on each window, with set of shiny tableware and cookware, stove and fridge if excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner offered by Agnes are not enough for you… I felt here as I was at home, even better, because I was generously taken care of… I love you, Agnes on Honvéd street!

We were in Vienna to visit Christmas markets and museums. The hotel is very centrally located and just a few minutes walk from the nearest ones. The hotel is on a single floor in an old building. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ours was warm and the shower was good. It is on a side street and we were not disturbed by street noise other than the occasional emergency vehicle. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide range of meats, cheeses, fruit etc and the coffee was brewed in one of those beans-to-cup machines.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast

This hotel was so nice. The checkin is on the second floor of a shared building, but it was easy to find. The room was great, coffee / espresso machine in the hallway was delightful, and the breakfast was simple and delicious!

A very unique hotel!! It is situated on the 1st and 3rd floors of a building that looks gorgeous from the outside. It could use some tlc however the bed was very comfy, room was quite spacious for European standards, there was plenty of hot water in the updated bathroom and the breakfast was terrific... especially if you love cheese!!! The staff were very pleasant and we would definitely stay again. The location is great!

If are traveling in the summer we don’t recommend this pension, there is no air conditioning, they only provide a fan, but not enough for a big room and the humidity. Otherwise they have good breakfast and excellent personal attention.

I stayed here for a conference and I am glad I did! The owner was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are large and nicely furnished. Finally, the location cannot be beaten -- it is quiet and relaxed while being only a few minutes walk from the Museum Quarter and the City Center.

Overall a great place to stay. It’s very central so no need to buy a travel pass. Definitely a pension rather than a hotel, arranged over the first and third floors of the building. The room we had was huge and I liked the styling. Beds were firm and I had a great night’s sleep. The only facility was the breakfast room. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. There several good restaurants within walking distance. Book ahead on Saturday night as it’s really busy. I would stay here again.

The location was amazing for exploring Vienna. Right next to the metro station and museum quarter. There is a spar sho also got buying any food or drink you may need a few doors down. The room had a great view with a balcony and the room was massive. The hotel reception closes at 10pm so you have your own key to the building entrance and entrance to room and floor of the building. The rooms don't have a safe and other niceties but it's not a 5 star hotel anyway. The breakfast was continental and buffet style with a good selection and the staff are all helpful and friendly. Overall : A no frills boutique hotel in a great location with spacious rooms
