A great and unforgettable stay!

It was such an amazing experience for us to stay at this hotel. hosts were super friendly and helpful and we enjoy the private 90 min. horse back riding so much - went through local streets unto horse trails and some riding by a breath taking beach! Love it! the room setup is old fashioned but we loved the side room with a single bed then main master room with king size bed and a HUGE balcony with great views!! we watched sunset from balcony & from our bed! only downside was i couldn't get much sleep at night due to roosters don't want to take a break singing haha

They were awesome from communication before my trip even started to when my ferry got there, will definitely recommend it’s not a f star hotel so if that’s what your looking for not the the place for you like staying at moms house is the best way to describe it, clean and the view was to gorgeous

Kelly and her aunt Penny were so kind and welcoming! They both the time to answer my questions, and give me a wonderful layout of the island. I had some miscommunications about when I was going to arrive and they were very understanding and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you need after a long day at the beach and checking out the bioluminescent bay. If I ever come back, I’d definitely stay with them again! :)

Dip into paradise

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in paradise at the Sea Gate Hotel and would highly recommend to others. We were met on arrival by Kelly who showed us around and gave us a comprehensive overview of the area. The bedroom was very comfortable with fab A/C, the shower was deliciously hot, the kitchen was well equipped - cooker fridge freezer & microwave. We had a fabulous view and enjoyed listening to the frogs and roosters. Continental breakfast was served daily which was a welcome start to the day. We would love to return someday. Thanks!

Super accommodating, attentive and great vibe

I had a very pleasant stay at Seagate. They send you information about the check-in process and activities as well as transportation. The check-in was easy and Kelly makes sure you know the ins and outs of the island. The hotel is clean and has everything you need! I personally loved the view. If I come back to Vieques I’ll be staying here again. Side note, make sure you schedule transportation ahead of time.

I loved my stay here & would definitely recommend! The location was good as it's close to the town, but not right in the town, it's perched further up which means it is very quiet and peaceful and also offers lovely views. The property itself is set up in a way that still gives you privacy as the rooms are split across different areas / levels and it is surrounded by gardens and a few animals which is a big plus if you are an animal lover like me! I only met with one of the hosts (Penny) and she was great, very very helpful as I travelled here solo without any actual plans and did not want to rent a car or buggy either so she helped guide me on what to do and provided a long list of contacts for transport around the island. The rooms themselves were very well equipped with anything you may need! Another thing worth mentioning is that there are horses which live beside the property, so there is also the option to book a horse ride from there which I did, and it was a lovely and pleasant experience!

We loved Seagate, but you must realize it's a strenuous 16 minute walk uphill from town and the rooster's start crowing around 4:30 am ( but that happens all over Vieques). We were in #10 so had a small lovely kitchen and dining area and a fantastic patio. We stayed a week to escape the Michigan snow and relax before a wedding in Esperanza March 1. Loved the dipping pool. Penny and Kelly are amazing ❤️

Wonderful location at the top of a hill with easy access to shops and restaurants in the local town. Breakfast was plentiful. Penny and Kelly were knoweldgeable and helpful about places to go and things to do. Highly recommend!
