Nice and cool temperature in the room – ideal for sleeping – despite outside temperatures of 30 C. The locks use physical keys which can be a bit bulky. Hopefully they will be replaced by mobile keys in the future. The locks can also be heard opening and closing due to their sturdy design.

Good facilities and breakfast

We stayed at the hostel. It worked well for us for two days visit in Astrid Lindgrens world. Not fancy in any way, but everything worked. Shared areas a bit crowded, but then again we didn’t hang out inside. The outdoor areas are great. For small fees you can enter pool or play mini golf. We enjoyed both offers. We also had breakfast buffet, which was really great. The restaurant service at evening was quite slow and more smiley service would have been welcome. The a la carte dish with pepper sauce was over spiced with pepper. But I am sure it was just bad luck. Only disadvantage is bad public transport links to Astrid Lindgrens world. The buses are not regular and ended up walking 45 minutes each way to the park.

Bodde pĂ„ vandrarhemmet. Det första vi möttes av var ett ostĂ€dat rum med gamla lakan och damm under sĂ€ngarna. Lövtunna vĂ€ggar, dvs EXTREMT lyhört. Vi hade dock tur med skötsamma grannar. Rummet luktade illa och det gick inte att öppna fönstret. Noll ventilation. PĂ„ morgonen gick vi till hotelldelen för att Ă€ta frukost. Även detta en besvikelse. Äggröran innehöll minimalt med Ă€gg och var utblandad med nĂ„got, mjöl? Generellt sett deppig frukost och och stökig matsal (dĂ„ reste vi Ă€ndĂ„ sjĂ€lva med 3 barn under 5 Ă„r). Försök hitta ett annat stĂ€lle att övernatta pĂ„ Ă€r mitt rĂ„d!

Varasimme 4hengen huoneen hostellista yhdeksi yöksi, kun kÀvimme Astrid Lindgrenin maailmassa. Varasin huoneen vain viikkoa ennen, joten oli vain 1 huone jÀljellÀ. Hostelli on hotellin yhteydessÀ ja sijaintia voin suositella etenkin lapsiperheille! Astrid Lindgrenin maailma on noin 4km pÀÀssÀ ja hotellin vieressÀ on uimapaikka (maksaa erikseen, esim 390kr koko perhe/koko lomailun ajan!) ja etenkin lapset nauttivat siitÀ kovasti. Hostelli itsessÀÀn oli ihan ok, huone perussiisti, mutta patjat, peitot ja tyynyt vÀhÀn kulahtaneita. MeillÀ oli omat petivaatteet mukana. Ostimme myös hotelliaamupalan, joka oli monipuolinen mutta ensi kerralla valmistaisin itse aamupalan hostellin keittiössÀ. Mutta loppujen lopuksi voin lÀmpimÀsti suositella tÀtÀ paikkaa, jos menee Astrid Lindgrenin maailmaan.

Trevliga personal och fint hotel

Trevliga personal. Rummet var rent och Àven kök, matsal och toaletten var rena och i ordning. Mina barn tyckte att det var mysigt att Àta frukost och middag i matsalen medans de tittade pÄ barn program pÄ TV. Poolen som ligger sÄ nÀra vid hotellet Àr en plus ocksÄ för att mina barn Àlskar att bada. Det tog ungefÀr 5 minuter för oss ocksÄ att ta bil till Astrid Lindgren vÀrd. Det enda som vi kan klaga pÄ att vÀggarna Àr dÄligt isolerad eftersom vi hörde vÄr grannar tydligt nÀr de pratade annars allting var bra och jag kan rekommendera till andra.

Jag skulle bara ha ett stÀlle att sova, det funkade bra. Det var lite ovÀsen frÄn andra gÀster som inte hade samma behov för att sova mitt i natten och rummet Àr inte sÄ vÀl ljudisolerat som jag skulle vilja, men jag gick upp och sa Ät dem, sen gick jag och la mig igen. Jag Ät kvÀllsmat pÄ restaurangen och det var riktigt gott.

Die Toiletten und Duschen waren sehr sauber, die Zimmer auch. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, was okay ist fĂŒr 1-2 NĂ€chte. Die Betten waren allerdings eine Katastrophe. Unser Hochbett hat gequietscht und die Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Außerdem ist es sehr hellhörig, man hört jedes Wort und jeden Schritt der Zimmernachbarn. Wer da empfindlich ist sollte das Hostel besser meiden.
