Welcome to Our Villa at Vipingo Ridge
Nestled in the heart of Vipingo Ridge, our 4-bedroom villa offers the perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and serenity. Recently refurbished to the highest standard, this is a special place for our family, and we’re excited to share it with you. Whether you're here to unwind by the pool, enjoy a BBQ under the stars, or simply relax with a drink in hand while soaking in the breathtaking sea views, we want you to feel at home as you experience your own slice of paradise.
Inside, the open-plan design seamlessly connects the sitting room and dining area, creating a perfect flow to the outdoor entertaining space. Step outside to discover a large dining table, ideal for gathering with family and friends, alongside a relaxed sofa area and a fully equipped bar—perfect for enjoying cool drinks in the shade. Further outside, you’ll find the sun terrace, complete with comfortable loungers and stunning views of the pool and the Indian Ocean.
Our villa runs entirely on solar power, which is a great advantage given the frequent power cuts along the Kenyan coast. While this eco-friendly system means air conditioning can’t run all night, you can cool the bedrooms with AC for a few hours before bed, and ceiling and floor fans are also available to ensure comfort throughout the night.
Stay connected with Starlink internet, offering lightning-fast speeds of up to 180mbps—ideal for streaming, remote work, or staying in touch with loved ones while enjoying your time here.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest amenities, including a bean-to-cup coffee machine, air fryer, microwave, electric oven, fridge freezers, and even a beer fridge to keep your drinks cold.
The villa is fully staffed, with a housekeeper, house manager, and gardener on hand to ensure your stay is effortless. For an extra touch of indulgence, a private chef can be arranged at an additional cost.
Please note: This villa is not suitable for young children as there is no fencing around the pool or stair gates. We kindly ask that guests with children take this into consideration when booking. Also, we have three very friendly resident cats who will likely be outside or napping most of the time, but they may pop in to say hello!

Please note that there are quiet hours on the estate of between 10.30pm and 7am to ensure all residents enjoy the tranquillity the environment offers.
House Rules:
This is a strictly maximum 8 guest property, all guests must be registered to enter the estate. No events or parties are permitted.
Commercial photography and filming are not permitted.
Swimming Pool: There is no fence around the swimming pool so children must be supervised at all times. Diving is not permitted. Please take care around the pool edges as they may become slippery when wet.
No glass is permitted around or in the swimming pool for your and future guests safety. Plastic glasses (tumblers and wine glasses) are available in the bar area for this purpose. (Please note we reserve the right should normal glass/beer bottles be used in this area and breakages occur, to charge for the pool to be emptied and cleaned should this be necessary - so please just use the plastic glasses provided)
Power: Due to intermittent power throughout Kenya we have installed solar throughout to ensure we have a consistent supply. The solar power will run the house excluding the AC 24 hours a day. However, the AC also runs off this system so please do not leave the AC running for prolonged periods of time as it will drain the batteries. We suggest an hour prior to sunset to cool the rooms and then if needed a short period of time just before bed, you will be able to use the ceiling fans through the night - if the AC is left on the batteries will discharge, leaving the entire house without power.
Bedding: Sheets will be changed twice a week unless you specify otherwise, please speak to Emily if you would like them changed more frequently.
Staff: There will be a member of staff at the property every day, please do speak to them if you require any assistance at all throughout your stay.
Guest access
The entire house is available to guests. There are 2 rooms inside and various out buildings that are used for storage and pool equipment which are locked and cannot be accessed.
No illegal substances are to be brought to or used at the property.
Other things to note
Security:
Security is very tight at Vipingo Ridge. To ensure a smooth arrival, we kindly ask that all guests’ names be provided in advance so that security can be notified, and access can be granted without delay.
Beach Bar and Restaurant:
Guests have access to the beach bar and restaurant. Reservations should be made directly through Vipingo Ridge to secure your spot and enjoy these fantastic amenities.
Golf:
Golf is available at the estate’s prestigious PGA-accredited course. Bookings should be made directly through the pro shop. Please note that golf is not included in the cost of your stay.
Estate Rules:
To protect the incredible wildlife that roams the estate—including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, and more—strict speed limits are enforced throughout the property. We kindly ask all guests to adhere to these limits and enjoy the unique opportunity to coexist with nature during your stay.
Getting around:
You will either need your own car or you can arrange taxis that can come up from the main road to take you where you need to go.
