Welcome to a superb chalet with a large terrace offering lovely views of the village and surrounding countryside. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, a living room and a veranda that can be used as a dining room or as a games room with a pool table or ping pong table! You can also enjoy a barbecue on the terrace in summer or a cosy fire in the living room in winter.
The village of Laforêt and the Semois are just a 5-minute walk away, as is the famous Pont de Claies!

You're on the edge of the village of Laforêt, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia.
You're also in the Semois Nature Park and in the heart of the Semois National Park.
The famous Pont de Claies over the Semois is just a 5-minute walk from the chalet(only in season, generally from May to September)!
From the chalet, there are numerous walks to discover the region: the children's walk known as La promenade des Légendes, which starts at the village fountain, the Vresse-sur-Semois walk, which leads to the Pont en pierre and the Pont Marie Thérèse, which can only be crossed on foot or on horseback, according to the legend.... or the Grand Tour de la Semois via the Pont de Claies and the GR16 long-distance footpath, the discovery of the Rocher de Saloru viewpoint overlooking the village of Membre, and finally the walk to the new viewpoint at Le Jambon a few kilometres away...
In the region, take the opportunity to visit Bouillon and its fortified castle or Sedan and its Vauban-style castle, named France's favourite monument in 2024. Or take in the spectacular sites such as the Giant's Tomb, the view of the Crêtes de Frahan from Rochehaut, the ladder walk along the Semois or the pretty town of Charleville Mézières with its beautiful Place Ducale!
