Very modern inside but externally does not look inviting. See through that and your stay will be very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and when the bathroom did not suit (shower over bath) they immediately moved us to another room with an ensuite without any hesitation. Would definitely stay there again.

hit and miss

I have stayed at the Astor a few times, and the service is always great, but the rooms are bit hit and miss. Some mattresses are great, and some amenities are fabulous in individual rooms, while others appear have not been upgraded.

Sorry its unsafe for the customers to leave there vehicle out in the gutter or another car park cause theres no car park in the motel to leave it and the restaurant was over booked even tho we were customers of the motel and the rooms were small and uncomfortable.

Best location, convenience and excellent staff

Hotel is strategically located in the city. Reception very accommodating for our early check-inn request and bag storage after checkout, greatly appreciated. On top of that, nothing can beat its convenience as we are catching XPT train, only a step away! Shopping and eating out the best👍😊

we did an overnight stay. A conveniently located motel and in easy walking distance to the center of town. The motel has been there a while however they have done a good job keeping it fresh and up to date. There were a couple of items in our room that needed maintenance attention although they did not effect our stay. The hotel is close to a main highway (on the footpath) so there is some traffic noise. Car parking spaces were 'tight' and limited however if you're checked in early and get a spot, you are still in easy walking distance to the town center. Also, the motel has a bar and restaurant on site. I found the room to be a little small but for a single night stay it was not an issue
