Good location and clean rooms. However, housekeeping was not up to mark. We stayed there for two nights, but the bathroom shower gel was never topped up. There was very little in the bottles and we just managed to do with it.

Lovely setting. A little bit out of the way. Restaurant and bar prices a bit on the high side. To far to drive into town for a cheap and cheerful. All the staff were lovely and very accommodating with any queries or requests.

Cosy, great facilities.

Great location, friendly front staff and great facilities. We booked for 3 people (1 adult, 2 children) and no rollaway bed was present (checked in at 9:30pm so too late to sort). All 3 had to share the king bed. Also only 2 towels were in the room. TV wouldn't work, but not a big deal.

Stayed at Warakei Resort for 3 weekday nites and used it as a base for full day trips doing the Lake Taupo Loop and the Central Plateau Mts Loop. Perfect accomodation for a late winter solo traveller. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Grounds extensive and diverse.....7-8am swim in thermal lap pool was magic. Room spacious, everything worked, plenty of bathroom and coffee-tea making supplies. Room serviced daily whilst out exploring. A great place to come 'home to' after out all day. Would I stay there again....DEFINITELY!.....Stu in Tauranga

The breakfast was great - especially the service from the older gentleman who kept an eye on all proceedings, making sure it all ran smoothly. Check in took quite some time as did the time I asked for an extra pillow - Saturday night around 7 pm. The facilities were very well kept, lovely friendly cleaner on Saturday afternoon on way to pool. Great place which we will recommend to everyone. Just wondering whether I should have got a discount for breakfast as joined as a member.

Greg on breakfast duty Saturday an Sunday always goes above an beyond to ensure patrons have what the need. Witnessed him bringing a peice of cake for young girl in Sunday. He gave us bananas for our marathon race on Saturday. Our dryer in villa kept breaking down an we had ants an cockroaches. Room was warm with a proper 4th bed set up in the lounge which was perfect.

From check in to check the amazing team looked after us and made us feel so welcome. Our room was great, comfy beds and all we needed for our little weekend get away for our anniversary. Oh and the hot pools were amazing, wish they had some sort of entertainment though, like a big screen playing music or something maybe a bit more lighting for ambience😁 lots of parking, oh and let's not forget the little 9hole gold course across the road👍 easy access to the town center and all other attractions.

Not the best for the place for what we paid. Rooms were not serviced, there was really bad drain kind of smell coming out of bathroom drain. Air vent in bathroom was not working and in the middle of the night the lights was not working.
