Great, but breakfast not worth the money

Generally great, breakfast would have been great at half the price, it was a good basic buffet breakfast but the price was for something much better. Coffee was from a machine that seemed to be filter although it said esspresso, and only eggs were scrambled.

Decor dated, old stained carpet in room. Dirty teaspoon and cup. Room wasn’t properly serviced- dirty towels removed but not replaced and rubbish not emptied. Steps on pathway to pool unsafe. Restaurant breakfast too expensive. Overall not worth the room rate.

Good, but.....

The public areas are very good, with lots of sporting amenities for families, and the staff are very friendly and professional. Location is excellent if you are happy to be out of town a bit - approx. 10 minute drive. But the rooms are a little dated and in serious need of a refresh (at least ours was). There was only 1 chair and 1 bedside table in our room and I think it's reasonable to expect an enclosed shower these days rather than one over the bath with a shower curtain. That said, shower had good pressure and the bed was large and comfortable. Probably a 6.5/10 overall

I was only staying two nights, but its outside of the city so you have to drive or uber to this location. My room was ok at best, for the amount i paid breakfast or transportation into the city should have been included.

The food was very disappointing. Had much better pub meals. 3 attempts to cook lamb rack.. sent all 3 back..!! Drinks were expensive.. large portion dispensed without asking.. then asking $26 for a glass of average nz wine.. Breakfast overpriced and very average.

Thought about a second night - was told ‘oh we’re are sold out ‘ went to look on travel website and was offered a room Dated - carpet everywhere however VERY clean and no musty smell - I would recommend this property

Not to a resort quality

Late arrival as just stopping the night! Stayed a week before and this time a different room. It smelled very bad, spray didn’t even work on the smell at all. No amenities in the room for having something lite to eat on as restaurant closes early even for a Saturday night. No service or any way to call reception, which as resulted in a very long painful walk to reception. In general very run down, but staff are helpful and friendly.
