Our family of three enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Motel - we booked into the 2 bedroom unit and it was perfect for our needs. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Lake Wanaka is an easy walk away, and the hiking in the area was superb. Alpine Motel is in a great location and is reasonably priced.

Decent stay but laundry facilities much more limited than advertised and mgmt office hours very limited. Room was OK but a bit run down and shower pod had a top over it that would make it uncomfortable for someone over 6’. Also, a sign in the kitchen said there was an additional one hundred dollar fee if staff had to clean any dishes. Wasn’t an issue for me, but that seems excessive and was not in property listing.

Stayed in the Queen Studio room type, comfortable and clean room. Short sides are the poor hot plates (slow, on & off itself), dull knife provided and clog sink in shower room. Could have some butter motel choices in Wanaka with the same price paid.
