Staying at citizenM DC was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. From the start, the staff were welcoming and helpful. Check-in was quick, and at checkout they kindly stored our luggage so we could enjoy the city without worry—a small touch that made a big difference. Our room was another highlight. It was very well priced, yet felt luxurious and thoughtfully designed. Every detail was intentional, from the smart use of space to the modern, cozy atmosphere. It was spotless, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations in every way. We also loved the restaurant and lounge. The food was delicious and surprisingly affordable, and the seating areas were stylish yet comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day in DC. The décor throughout the hotel was another standout. Modern, vibrant, and creative, it gave the entire space an inspiring energy that made the stay feel extra special. From the excellent location to the friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and hip design, citizenM truly delivered. We had an incredible time and will absolutely stay here again on every future trip to DC. I’d recommend it 1000% to anyone looking for the perfect mix of comfort, style, and hospitality.

Clean and stylish

Very clean hotel. iPad is an interesting and modern touch. Room was a tight space, but for the location, price, and service, that was fine for this trip! Would stay here again if we ever make it back to DC.

It’s part of the business district so not much in the way of lunch IMMEDIATE but CENTRAL to everything as long as your willing to walk. Thirty minutes in any direction got me where I wanted to be.

The property itself is nice. The staff greeted me with excitement and helped me check in- the only issue is a few dirty spots in my room. The red ottoman or stool is soiled badly and needs to be replaced. Otherwise the sink and bathroom area is clean.
