I was given a room on the 1st floor initially. The front desk is on the main (2nd) floor and the 1st floor is like a basement - there is a huge laundry room where they’re washing/cleaning the linen. The 1st floor was so humid and noisy that I had to request a room on another floor. Overall the hotel was ok but it seemed dated. Staff was friendly. A plus is that there’s parking on site. I’d AVOID the 1st floor.

I would happily return to this property. This is a great choice for northern Virginia, DC area driving commute. The property felt safe. The rooms were large and clean. The beds were big and comfortable, and there are blackout curtains, so we slept great. The shower was nice and hot, and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was served in a large dining room, and coffee was just fine. You will feel comfortable feeding your children breakfast here. The staff was welcoming, very prompt, and very friendly, and kept the property clean. The hotel was properly staffed with enough workers. If I had a hotel, I would want this staff. They were polite, careful, and considerate. There was ample parking (the Miami Rowing Club parked its tow truck of its shells returning south from Head of the Charles Regatta), and ample area to run our dog in the side parking lot. We even found a decent fair-priced emergency veterinarian for a small issue our dog developed during our stay. There were gas stations and restaurants nearby (of many different ethnicities, including American), and there was a Vietnamese Mall nearby. The hotel is along a major suburban thoroughfare. It was a decent driveable commute into Washington, DC.
