The room was dirty. As I always do, I wipe down the TV remote control, and there was a brown film that appeared on the cloth. I also wiped down the nightstand, and there too, was a brown film that appeared on the cloth. Also, there was a brown smear of sorts on the toilet tank, which I can only assume was fecal matter, which I wiped off with a towel. Being a Marriott property, I expected more. Not related to the guest room… I used the onsite parking and didn’t need to use my room key to exit the parking garage. This didn’t make me feel safe about my vehicle being parked there. I didn't know this until I was leaving. There is no accountability if it was stolen, whereas tying it to a room key/guest would have provided some. Moot point because my vehicle is safe and with me, but that is not a comforting approach. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this Marriott again.
