About 20 minute walk to most of the sights. Close to metro but not great connections to the sights so usually took a Lyft for about $10. Great dining options nearby. Breakfast was hot eggs / meat / potatoes, DIY waffles, oatmeal - good meal. Hotel looks well kept up. Only major downside is that even on the 5th floor there was a lot of road noise and DC has the highest # of 911 calls per capita and it sure sounds like it - not the hotel's fault. But I am removing one star because the Wifi was absolutely pitiful at usually around 1Mbps if I was lucky and not really usable - I used my cell service instead.

The property was conveniently located, we were able to walk to the museums with ease, it was not too crowded in the area and there were a lot of restaurants and a Walgreens close by in case you needed anything. It was clean and quiet, the washer and dryer could use an upgrade but overall the property was great ans the staff was wonderful. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

The valet parking is ridiculously expensive. It was about $80 for one night plus a tip. The 2nd night I took my chances by parking on the street and feeding the meter. It only cost me $10 to park on the street. The area around the hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

Second time staying at the hotel, a block to China Town, easy walk to the National Gallery of Art and the National Mall. Many restaurants to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable Great place to stay in DC.

Everything You Need!

Me and my 7 year old stayed here during our Spring Break trip to DC! The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was well done and it was nice to be able to start the day with a good meal. The breakfast seating area got a little crowded at times but we managed to find a table all 4 mornings of our stay. The front desk and valet staff were great! The hotels proximity to bus routes and a metro station made it super easy to get to all of the landmarks on our list! Being in Chinatown there were LOTS of Chinese restaurants to choose from if that is something that interests you. We also found good pizza at Wiseguys and a good burger at All About Burger which are both super close to the hotel. Overall, great place to stay!
