Old Town Fun

My adult siblings and I stayed at this nice townhouse in Old Town Alexandria, and enjoyed walking to and from Old Town restaurants and tours. The place feels new and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, but needs a regular coffee maker unless you like Nespresso, which we did not. The beds were very comfortable. I stayed in the small basement one, and slept very well. The host was very responsive before and during our four night stay. Enjoy!

Nice property. New home with a lot of good amenities. Several smart tv’s to watch ur fav shows. The home had a dedicated parking spot right out the back door which is huge BUT getting in and out of the alley required a 3 to 4 point turn each time you come in and out as it is very narrow unless you have a compact car. It definitely is better than having to find street parking. Upstairs the to rooms were nice, both having their own bathrooms although the bathroom facing the road had low shower pressure but I'm pretty sure it was just due to the rain shower head. (they require high water pressure) 😉. The kitchen level was fine. Downstairs is a little cold thou as it prob needed its own unit down there and the internet signal was little to none as the modern was on the upper level of the home so don’t expect a good wifi signal there. Also there’s a twin bed and a nice size living room. I wished the couch would have been a pull out but it is what it is. There’s a nice bar/kitchenette downstairs as well and big tv. Overall this is a great place to stay near food, shops, the metro and 10 min from the harbor and airport etc.. I still give this place a 5/5 as I’m know to be a lil picky.

This is a new property. Great location and host responds quickly. No issues. Loved that you have a designated parking spot. Short enough ride via Uber to D.C. tourist spots. Also in walking distance to nightlife in the area. If I come back, I am staying here!

A weekend in DC

We spent 4 days/3 nights at this property. Overall, it was good! Clean, well maintained, and accurately described. The one thing we would change is most likely the location. I would consider it on the outskirts of Old Town. I wouldn’t quite say it was walkable to some destinations in Old Town such as the waterfront. Also, it is directly across the street from what seemed to be some rent-controlled/low income housing with some sketchy characters out and about. Other than that, a solid place.

Wonderful place

Everything was great- the property as well as the host. The property host, Alia was very responsive and considerate. For families with older age groups , it can be a bit of a struggle taking the stairs as there’s no bedroom on the first floor. But overall , it’s a great place to stay at. We really enjoyed our time here.

Clean & Excellent

Booked for a friends reunion and I love to cook/bake. Hosts were kind enough to supply a few things to the house prior to arrival, shoveled the snow, offered to come by and help with a little sound system issue. Overall an excellent experience for a brand new property, would highly recommend!
