When we arrived, we asked to be moved to a room on a higher floor if there was one available. The lady at the front desk told us rooms were available but not yet clean. We asked if we could move and we would wait until they were clean. She refused to accommodate our request. The next two nights were brutal, those above us were loud and thumping on the floor all hours of the night into morning. Unfortunately I was here on business and had to wake up early each morning. It was a rough week. Then we found trash under the bed that was not cleaned after the last guests. Some of it was food related, which could attract a number of things. This showed the room was not properly cleaned before we were welcomed into it. This is poor service across the board from a hotel that we expected to be high rating. Very disappointed.

Hotel was very clean, and a very convenient area. We arrived during a storm, while it was advised to stay inside. The only downside I would say is lack of communication from staff- there was no information offered as to where to get dinner or any food as the restaurant was shut down due to the storm- advice would’ve been very helpful during our stay
