The room was clean, however, it definitely needs to be refreshened with new towels, a new headboard and a good deep cleaning. You can tell it receives a lot of use. You have a great hotel in a nice location -- just some care would go a long way in maintaining good reviews!

This was a nice hotel. It was a little older and had some flaws in furniture/fixtures but overall it was very nice. The staff was friendly. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked delicious. It felt safe, bright and cheerful. I would stay here again.

I've taken many college students on trips, and this is the first one in which my students referred to the hotel and "home". It is a convenient, comfortable environment with a good breakfast and very kind people manning the front desk and serving in the breakfast area. The location is close to metro station, convention center, and to a number of good restaurants, including Capitol Burger, I think our favorite. Would definitely book here again if traveling with students to DC.

When they lock the front door at 7 PM, security is an issue. The front desk was friendly maybe 50% of the time. The breakfast food was warm but not hot. In today’s world they only had one plug for electronics. We were there for 7 days.

Good hotel at a convenient location. National Mall is within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy. NY awenue produces plenty of noise, keep that in mind. Some rooms have window AC, which is also noisy. Breakfast food is good, but selection is pretty modest.

Kitchen good, we only used frig didn't have a car

Headboard worn, didnt feel clean. No body soap or conditioner, had to ask for 2 days, carpet dirty, bedspread worn, handle on closet broken, poor wifi signal, no apps on tv, didnt replace makeup remover, had to ask. Toilet very low. Staff friendly.
