Nice hotel. GREAT location! Easy to walk everywhere. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Our room was not the quietest, bc of other room doors and were by the elevator. Overall, very happy and would stay there again.

We were very excited to stay here, however the room was next to the kitchen and it had a smell once you entered the vicinity to get to the room. At night there was so much noise of machines, like a dishwasher or something. I would not recommend staying here and not much was done to accommodate us, besides given ice cream, which we appreciated but was not enough. They also took out the resort fee.i would recommend they completely stop giving that room to guests.

Very, very noisy restaurant made it near to impossible to hear the person at check-in counter. Had some trouble with the room’s heating system, which was hard to control (though maintenance engineer got it working well enough for sleeping). And light switches were curiously placed—switch in entry area controlled lamp across the room but there was no lighting at all in entry or at makeup table. And Nespresso instructions left out first step—fill the water container.

Lyle is in Dupont Circle, near the Metro and about a 30 minute walk to the Mall. The breakfasts are outstanding! Rooms very comfortable. Kitchenette not that useful, no microwave and the fridge is really a minibar. No view in our room, but plenty to see outdoors.
