Good location in central DC, close to a subway station and a few fast food restaurants. Rooms are large with well equipped kitchenettes. Beds have memory foam mattresses which perhaps remember too much. Bathrooms are very small. Noise from nearby rooms is a serious problem especially with barking dogs, partying guests and noisy children. Parking on site is $55+tax but $35 incl tax at several neighbourhood parking garages. Street parking is restricted. Daily housekeeping only on request. Lobby has free popcorn, coffee and tea. Staff seem friendly.

Great stay, room was spacious, nice touch with the free coffee machine, popcorn in the reception area. Staff at the front desk were excellent and our concierge were great with keeping in touch via text, asking if anything we needed, advice on resteraunts, etc

PROS: Free coffee, can’t beat having a kitchen for an extended stay, we don’t have a dog but doggy friendly and so clean you would never know it, LOCATION can’t be beat as it’s walkable to the National Mall and museums and the subway. Also the bar, Recessions, downstairs isn’t affiliated with them but nice to have a spot to get a bev or do karaoke right below you and late night pizza right around the corner. CONS: We had a car and it made no sense for us to use the hotel for parking as other garages were cheaper even though we were guests. We also had a view of an office building to which we could never open our blinds because we would be eye to eye with people. We also showed up to an 80 degree room and there’s heat but no a/c (or maybe the entire building is one or the other so since it was November it was heat?). So opened windows. Finally, coffee makers are available to get from the front desk and there’s free coffee downstairs but since we had a 3/4 kitchen, would have liked coffee in the room. All that to say, this is transparency for those who may be impacted. For us, the parking was the only real issue and, for price, pros far outweighed the cons! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!
