The room was exactly as described on the website. Very nice rooms in a very nice area within walking distance to restaurants and other amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and book again if visiting the area.
Poor communication and they were not ready for us when we got there. We were interrupted for different times by knocks on the door about when we were leaving. Rude staff, poor Training.
Very comfortable option for home-like stay. Apartment was stocked with everything necessary and everything worked pretty well. Team worked to meet most requests made but could tell still working out some of the kinks of being a new place. Parking free on street parking and was abundant. Park for dog located across the street, along with pet groomers and day care.
This place is very clean and new building like.
The room itself is spacious and kitchen is a good benefit. I feel like I stay home. Next time I definitely will be back here again.
There was no stay. I arrived to the property- Reside Navy Yard 10 mins before my check in time. I used the code that was given to me and could not access the building to get to my room after trying the code about 10 times. The number listed for assistance didn’t work properly after calling and following the prompts about 4-5 times. I wasn’t able to get anyone on the phone. Now I have been told by Hotels.com that the Property Manager for Reside Navy Yard will not issue me a refund. I want my money that I spent to be refunded because I wasn’t able to stay at the property and had to make other arrangements. It is unacceptable to have some pay for a room they are not able to access at all

What I did not like was the dishwasher had an bad odor the water pressure was very low in the shower and it had one television. I like that they had a washer and dryer
They don’t tell you they don’t accept cash
They also don’t tell you that once booked and you arrive there is a large deposit that could days to get back!!!!! That’s a big thing you should tell people when they are traveling some where !

Great Value for Money
Very good place to stay with excellent staff and great location.
I want to start by saying that I didn't do my research. I didn't realize that Reside was not a typical hotel--but more of an apartment building, I guess? Even with that caveat, it was not a good experience. The staff did their best, but it's clear that this property is not set up for the casual traveler.
Upon first arrival, I couldn't get in the front door. So I stood on the sidewalk calling the number and trying a code that was sent to me. Nothing worked. Eventually someone came out and let me in. I was told I couldn't check in early without an extra fee. I have never heard of this and this was not communicated to me. It was 12:30pm and the hotel was dead. So i decided to go do some meetings and come back. I came back at 5 and my code still didn't work. I was let in and the check in process was quick. However the code to my room didn't work. Then they tried a new code. Then they gave me a new room. 20 minutes later I was in my room.
Asked if there was an ice machine. I was told there would be an ice tray in the freezer in my room. There wasn't.
I told front desk that there is a low battery alarm on a smoke detector in the hallway. They said maintenance doesn't come in until tomorrow morning. So I got to listen to that for 12 hrs.
The room itself was fine & clean. The property is across from a dog kennel so I hope you like the sound of barking dogs.
At check out they said they would send the receipt to my email. They did not. It took two calls the next day to get one

Sidewalks were blocked by cars and Ice. The main faucet was stuck between two modes and made a very loud sound when in use. The soap dispenser was empty in the bathroom. Since the internet was down I could not change the check-out time, and the front desk could not assist me.
Aside from those minor issues, it was a beautiful location and a mostly pleasant stay.
Property was not so bad, very clean and well kept. The tenants, however, very loud. Seemed multiple parties were going on. We got an apartment on the end next to the staircase and it was still very loud. Upon entering the apartment, our door was opened. Very alarming, but the front desk said it must’ve been the housekeeper from earlier. There was dog hair EVERYWHERE! From the closets to the sofa bed. Please be aware. Not sure how much of a deep clean they do before the next person comes in. I won’t stay here again.
