The building is old, the hallways felt dark, the painting was peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom. The hinges were rusted. The lighting was limited and the room felt dark as well. This was my first time staying at a Viceroy and this was not the elevated experience I was expecting. My room service took an hr and arrived cold. The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean, which were the positives of my experience.

The Viceroy was great! Amazing location, walking down 14th street allows you to explore a lot of awesome restaurants and bars. Like Pearls Oyster Place and Barcelona. I'd avoid the food trucks as they over charge. Great service at the hotel, cool look and spacious room. Great spot if you like being active in the city.

The staff was super friendly and I really enjoyed their service. However, the room was less than I expected, it was dark and even with all the lights on it was hard to see. At 9 am, I thought it was 5:30 light. The room cleaning was subpar- they only made the med and replaced the water in the room. I had towels and washcloths in the shower- and they didn’t move. Also the AC in the room was so weak and the room was freezing. Finally, not a huge fan of including 18% tip on everything….
