Great location, gives boutique hotel feel

Comfy bed, clean room, pricy restaurants on site, $25 dollar guacamole and chips, limited vegan options, but great food choices within walking distance. Across street from White house if you are going there. Room service good. Good service from staffers. Decor and furniture had good lay out for odd shaped room. Plenty of things to do in walking distance. Nespresso in room was nice touch.

Not a great stay

Our stay was sub-par. I booked a bigger more spacious queen room, and received a smaller double room, with a "view." When i asked to have the room i reserved i was told they didn't have that room, but we got an upgraded "view." The view was of the treasury building, and nothing else. Not what I would call an upgrade. I had to sleep with my daughter, not my husband, in a full size bed. The bathroom has no door, (just a door for the toilet, thankfully) and the shower has frosted glass as the wall to the bedroom. Not ideal when travelling as a family. You can see through it as pretty clear frosted shapes. I asked for coffee pods, and creamer for our room, as well as mugs or cups because it hadn't been given, and it never came. They did grant us a $70 hotel voucher, but that really doesn't make up for the room we were given. I researched this hotel extensively and chose it over many other choices, and was super dissapointed.

Neat hotel with history but also hip and fun looking inside. Plenty of sofas and chairs to sit and read or relax in the lobby. Nice location and walkable to the Warner theater. Felt safe and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I choose this hotel as it had amazing reviews, however, I left disappointed. Check in process was smooth and the lobby area was cute. Once I got to my room, I was shocked at how small the bathroom was, including the room. There was no space for luggage, no desk just a small random table in the corner which made it impossible almost to eat in each (mind you it was a two bed). The bathroom sink was so small that was so uncomfortable to brush your teeth or do anything really. In addition, the walls were so thin that I could hear everything from the hallway, room next to mind and also the one above. Lastly, the food was not good at all and it made me sick. I was expecting so much more due to the amount of money I paid to stay here.

Weekend in the City

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. I wished front desk gave us direction on elevator operation, parking rules, wifi, and check in/out info. Maybe a short cheat sheet of things to know while a guest.
