Family room in Watford
Cons:parking
Location:centrally located.
Ticked all the boxes, nice clean room, comfy beds, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, no complaints except maybe parking could be improved.

Location was perfect for Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Bus shuttle service from Watford Junction train station, just a 2min walk away, to the Studio. Easy access to London with a train journey from Watford Junction to Euston then on to the underground. Hotel was great and suited our needs perfectly. Will definitely use it again.

Don't bother staying if you have dietary needs!
The hotel staff on check in were very helpful and polite and the room itself was great. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was not. I am allergic to gluten and upon asking what I could have for my breakfast I was advised I could have a slice of gluten free bread - this couldn't even be toasted as the toasted is a communal toaster for guests therefore cross contamination would take place. My husband spoke to the Manager Dimitri who was a very rude man who couldn't care less and said there was nothing he could do. It seemed there was nothing he was prepared to do. I would have been more than happy with a boiled egg but I was told that nothing more than gluten free bread could be offered. Very disappointing and this really spoilt our stay with Holiday Inn. We won't be using this hotel or hotel chain again.

Good hotel close to Watford Junction Station
We wanted a hotel close to Watford Junction Station so that we could get the Harry Potter bus to the studio tour. It was only about a one minute walk or two minutes if you are wearing high heels.
Breakfast was listed as continental which contained normal items such as cereals, juice, fruit and yogurts but also included some hot items such as sausages, beans and scrambled eggs. Perfect food after a night out at the Harry Potter Great Hall Christmas Dinner.
Well priced and positioned hotel for the railway station.
