Loved this hotel for just being a good hotel; Reasonable pricing, comfortable beds and pillows, helpful attentive polite staff, lovely bathrooms with products loved by Victoria Beckham, pool, spa, sauna, plunge pool. Looking forward to the ground floor being finished. Then it will be a 10/10

The hotel pool was lovely. I was not notified about renovation work which meant the bar and restaurant were out of action. Dirty dishes outside my door, and a mini bar with nothing in it! The 20 dollar voucher was a fair gesture but i would have booked another hotel if i had of known about the work going on. I like to have a drink in the hotel bar, as a woman travelling on my own i feel more comfortable doing this. No mini bar either. Not very 5 star!

Hotel review.

This Hotel is going through some restoration's at this time, check-in staff are doing a fantastic job with very limited room to operate in. All staff were excellent, even the lady that cleans the room asked if there was anything more she could do. overhaul a really great Hotel in the Heart of Wellington city. Very clean, and very well run.

We had a premium king room with a water view. The restaurant on site was closed. We were really looking forward to eating there and wouldn’t have booked if we knew that ahead of time. The staff was amazing - check in, concierge, laundry pickup, towel drop off, etc. The bed was comfortable. The other furniture was…odd. It was like someone had dropped off furniture without checking to see if it fit in the room. There was one desk/counter after the kitchenette that we placed one suitcase on. At the end of the tv cabinet was another desk, and we placed the other suitcase there. This desk was in 2 feet in front of the corner window. There is nowhere else to put suitcases. Right next to that is an odd round table where they thoughtfully placed 2 bottles of water. To get at the curtain behind the desk, you have to move the table! Next to that is a loveseat placed three feet in front of the bayside window. It was all so strange. I shoved the loveseat against the window. My husband thinks it was so you could get at the long curtains. I think all they have to do is put shorter curtains. The bathroom shower has a rain head and a handheld. If you stand under the handheld, your butt is up against the metal hose & the rain head drips cold water on you. If you use the rain head instead, the pressure is too weak to penetrate your hair. Unless you’re bald, like my husband. The tile floor is slippery. The toilet is a wall push button which caved in our last day.
