Neglected house with several issues, advised the host of the issues they admitted to knowing of some of the issues, they did not say which. They didn’t disclose known issues prior to booking. Exposed electrical wires on baseboards heater & covers falling off & rusted, dishwasher racks are rusted & peeling, flooring cracked pealing up, sitting room windows don’t close completely only one had a screen, almost all windows in the house had cobwebs & dead bugs, bedspread was stained, freezer was dirty, main floor bathroom vanity drawers were dirty window in the bathroom was dirty & chipping paint,found false eyelashes stuck to my sock, main floor bedroom blinds broken and missing slats. Trash on the grounds just outside of the mowed area, looks like it’s been there a while. Host informed me after I checked in that there is a bear problem in the area & to make sure the dumpster is secured however there is no way to secure the dumpster. Host offered to send someone out to fix the issues but I declined I did not want to spend my vacation with trades people and cleaners coming in & out during stay. Host told me that they gave me a five star review and asked if I could find it in my heart them five star review. Which leads me to believe they coerce five star reviews and neglect the home. Requested refund due to condition of the house & lack of disclosure to make an informed decision. No response on refund yet. Host owns 6 rental properties hopefully the others are not neglected.
