Your cozy getaway awaits in West Salem at this beautiful cabin overlooking a private pond. With three bedrooms featuring a queen bed and two full beds, plus a living room with a comfy sofa bed, guests have plenty of space to relax. Two bathrooms offer both a soothing bathtub and a refreshing shower, making it easy to unwind after a day of adventure. The cabin stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Perfect for families or groups, this inviting retreat blends comfort and charm effortlessly. The setting feels remote and private, yet you are close to Lodi, Wooster, Medina, and Ashland, and just one hour from Berlin (Amish country). A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay.

The living room offers spacious, open feel with vaulted ceiling and seating for relaxing or watching TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals and features a gas stove, and the dining area provides space for shared meals and gatherings.

Guests can enjoy time on the deck, which overlooks the pond and offers a beautiful, peaceful view. The surrounding country side makes this a great place for walking or running along long, quite country roads. The area is near Amish Country, where visitors may notice traditional buildings such as schoolhouses and farmland, adding the rural charm.

Our cabin is Pet Friendly. Well trained, house trained dogs are welcome. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of any pet related damage and take responsibility if it occurs.

Our pond is home to fish and is perfect for peaceful catch and release fishing. Please help us protect the ecosystem by releasing all fish back into the pond.

Guests currently have access to a temporary smokeless 16 inch portable fire pit with outdoor seating of 6, perfect for cozy evenings outdoors.
A built in fire pit will be available around April, offering a relaxing space with beautiful pond views, peaceful evenings, and excellent stargazing under the open sky.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Linens & Towels: At checkout, please place used linens and towels in the laundry room baskets. If everything does not fit, you may place them neatly on the laundry room floor.
Trash & Recycling: Two bins—trash and recycling—are in the kitchen. When they are full, please take them to the outdoor bins near the garage.
Dryer: For safety and efficiency, please make sure all lint is removed from the filter after each use
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The pond is not fenced. Children must be supervised at all times.
For safety reasons, please do not use the wood burning stove. If you are experienced in operating wood stoves, please reach out for approval first.
The home have a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
