The Penthouse at the Carleton Lodge is spread out over approximately 2000 square feet and has everything you and your group will need for a VIP vacation.

The main floor has huge two story ceilings and is home to the Master Bedroom with king bed, full en suite; Chef style kitchen; oversized living room with stone (gas) fireplace; flat-screen TV; balcony; powder room; laundry room and large dining room.

The loft has two bedroom both with full en suites. The first bedroom has two bunk-beds and being able to sleep up to four, is great for kids or close friends (upper bunks exclusively for children). The second bedroom has a king bed and is truly a second Master Bedroom. Please note that although the two loft bedrooms are separated by a wall they are open to the Great Room (refer to profile photo). As well, the loft is only accessible by the spiral staircase and is recommend for agile people with no mobility issues (refer to photos).

Maximum vehicle height for underground parkade is 6' 8". Rental includes paid access to one parking space. More may be available at an additional cost.

The Carleton Lodge is the single closest property to both Whistler and Blackcomb's main gondolas for both winter and summer activities. This location is the only area that has access to BOTH mountains as well as the only location to have access to the main mountain bike lift for summer activities.

There simply is no better location in all of Whistler Village and you are only steps from not only the main gondolas but dozens of restaurants, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, equipment rentals and almost everything else Whistler has to offer.

This location is also within easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants, lounges, bars, nightclubs and shops. Many, including the Longhorn Salon, Black's Pub, The Mexican Corner, Sushi Village, Showcase Snowboards, Teppan Village, Indian Masala Bistro, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub, Zog Dogs, Burton, Lulu Lemon, McCoos, Fat Tony's, Avalanche Pizza, Lift Coffee Company (plus many more) are all either in the building or right outside the door.

This is not a hotel so we don't have hotel like amenities or hotel like services but the property is stock with most things you will need for a great vacation and we are always available should you have any questions.

Location, Location, Location!

We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. You can't beat the location, and we had no issues with parking / accessing the building. Our RAM pick-up truck rental also fit perfectly in the parking spot. We loved being footsteps away from all of the action, and our three teenage kids enjoyed exploring on their own as well. The kitchen is very well appoointed with everything that you need, and the laundry is very conveniently located on the first floor. The listing mentions a hot tub under "popular amenities" but this location does not have a hot tub or access to a hot tub (for anyone else who is looking for that amenity). Also, the master bedroom on the first floor doesn't have AC so be sure to bring a fan, as it can get warm during the summer months. The twin bunk beds were a little short for our tall teens (we have tall kids!) but would be great for younger kids. Thank you for a great stay - we loved it!

Great location, plenty of space and amenities

Our family of 5 (kids ages 14-18) had an incredible week of spring skiing! You cannot beat this location! From the ease of parking to the quick walk to the gondola, this apartment had all the amenities for a great family vacation. The beds were comfortable and although we liked eating out- the apartment had everything we could have needed. So fun! We hope to return next year!

Great property and prime location in Whistler!

Doug and Andrea are great hosts and have a beautiful property in Whistler. When we checked in the property was well stocked and clean and the location of this property cannot be beaten given you are just footsteps from the lifts but also great bars and restaurants like Longhorns that is located in the same building.We would definitely book with Doug and Andrea again on our next trip to Whistler!

Great place. Amazing location

If you like to ski, you can't get closer to the Whistler Gondola than this. It was the perfect location that allowed us to sleep in a bit and still get on the mountain at a reasonable time. The place is comfortable with lots of room for our family to sit. The stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms are narrow and spiral so make sure the people staying upstairs can navigate that. Also, the upstairs bedrooms aren't private. They are like lofts overlooking the living room. You can't see the beds, but from upstairs, you can hear what's going on downstairs. Our kids sleep through everything though so we had no problem with it!
