Will not likely use Vrbo again.

Never actually got to stay at this lovely looking place. Communication until the last minute was pretty bad with the property owner. My stars on the review are just because I couldn’t leave a review without checking them off. My stay was cancelled with full immediate refund, but it was done very unexpectedly only an hour before I needed to check in after being booked well in advance. Something about the property host told Vrbo that something was wrong with the property and they were supposed to cancel our trip days ago. I didn’t care whose fault it was, just really inconvenient and infuriating on a busy weekend when it was very hard to find last minute alternative lodgings. I didn’t want to bother calling customer service because my trust in anything Vrbo was pretty shot then. If I was told days ahead of time I know things happen, but this last minute experience was ridiculous.
Stayed 2 nights in Sep 2023
