Lion’s Dive is an amazing resort. The manager, Mimi and Elles are amazing and helpful. The gentleman with the blonde hair at the front desk was very polite and the rest of the staff was amazing and ready to help with anything. Lions Dive has an amazing location right in the beach. The breakfast buffet is awesome, and right on the beach, so you can immediately start your beach day after breakfast! Beach is clean and gorgeous. We went with our son, highly recommended for families. Conveniently located next to Mambo beach (which has great restaurants).

The resort overall was great location, with great options for food and beverages. Room had a gorgeous view and was cleaned daily. My only feedback is when there were repairs being done to a unit on the roof above our room there was a repairman in a lift immediately outside of our room for the whole day as well as no water to our unit for the whole day. If we had been notified in advance, then perhaps, we could have planned our day differently. When we called to find out what was happening, we were repeatedly told someone would be up to discuss and no one ever came up. This could have been handled very differently. There were no apologies or explanation for why we were not notified in advance or even when we called.

From perspective of late 20s couple. We chose this hotel because of location and that it was directly on the water. We only paid for the room, no meal plan. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Room was nice, AC works well. There was some local shampoo, conditioner, and lotion with aloe vera (that saved me after I got super burnt). The beach was 5 minutes away walking. The snorkeling at the beach was excellent. There is a rock formation that breaks the waves and allows for still waters to see all the marine life in the reef below. Recommend renting a car, the hotel has free parking for hotel guests. A few snags: 1. Our first night (we arrived around 6pm), we were starving. We went to a couple restaurants on the property and each told us they were full, even though many tables were available. We walked around and circled back, at which point a different host was there and was able to find us a table after all. Then the service was… non-existent? We never got a refill of water the entire meal, when we wanted the check the server sort of sighed and we felt like such a burden. Food was good, but felt like a lot of struggles for a meal. 2. One morning around 830am we went to get towels from the towel hut and they said they didn’t have any. Was a little baffling since there weren’t that many people on the beach by that point and it was still early. Otherwise the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again, mostly for the beach ;)

We really enjoyed our stay at LionsDive. The beach was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were a perfect size, our Oceanfront room had a great view. I wish the fridge in the room was a little larger...if I am being picky. I am also thankful for the waiter on the beach not being as attentive as I would have liked him to be, as we saved quite a bit of money on afternoon beach drinks ;) All in all we would come back and stay here again, hopefully sooner than later.

This resort is lovely. They do a lot to support the island, local businesses and artists. Beach was so nice and staff was friendly. Very close to Mambo Beach and free parking. We already want to go back.

Great location with central access to Mambo beach, shopping, many dining options both onsite and walkable. Easy parking and beautiful beach with lots of loungers available. Dive site on site if you plan to dive. Staff quickly resolved any issues we had. Would definitely come back! Perfect for our 30th anniversary trip!

This is our second time at LionsDive. Beautiful hotel on beach. A lot of restaurants at hotel and next door. Can snorkel off beach. Received a complimentary bag and water bottles. Filtered water refill areas. Staff is very helpful with organizing taxi.

Rooms close to the Chill Bar are very noisy in late evening when trying to sleep. So if you are a person that is in bed by 10 you should consider hearing loud music until 2am. The room and hotel is very nice but the area is busy and loud. If that doesnt bother you then you will be very happy in this location.
