The experience was wonderful. Beautiful room and helpful and friendly staff.We stayed here last eight years ago, and again it was a wonderful experience. With one exception. On our last visit, dinner and breakfast were truly exceptional, attentive staff and delicious food served in an atmosphere of quiet elegance. The staff are still wonderful and the food is exceptional. But now there is an extremely noisy bar with excessively loud music which made conversation very difficult.

Every employee that we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Du Pont. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant provided two delicious meals. Our only suggestion to make a great stay even better is to add a pillow top to the less-than-comfy mattress. We will definitely be back.
