Loved the location and layout of room. However the bedroom backs up to outside hallway and we heard doors slamming and carts all night. No fan in bedroom and AC didn’t seem to work . Warm and stuffy. Room needs more circulation of air. Bathroom fixtures were broken. Room could use some renovation and repair. Disappointing that restaurant hours are not posted on website so we didn’t know it wouldn’t be open for most of our stay. Enjoyed the balcony and view.

This place is always a great place to stay as the staff are very helpful and accomodating. The location is awesome and there is plenty of parking available. The units are well maintained for being an older property and are comfortable and cozy (aka not fancy). The on site food and drink service is spotty at best in that they aren't always open and the restaurant menu is very limited these days. However, there are great local restaurants nearby and you can easily get a lyft or uber ride or have door dash deliver to the lobby. We will definitely be back!

we were looking forward to the trip, looking the photos. The room temp was 62 and took a while to come up to 70. The dinner was okay and I would not do it again. The Microwave didn't work and some of the lights flickered. The blinds didn't work and the light outside was bright into the bedroom. Sorry disappointed. Looking forward to a great night with my wife on the beach. Unfortunately the weather was cold, windy and wet.

Great location and fair prices. Place is somewhat dated and old. Needs paint and redos in areas. Room was nice size with great view of ocean. Did have kids near up late making lots of noise two nights. Furnace filter was very dirty. We told staff when we left. I tightened knobs on most of kitcheon cabinets. Pillows were good. Shampoo size was tiny. Still would stay here again as pricing was good.

Please raise money from your guests for hot tub part that makes the jets work. A warm tub is not hygienic and this should be addressed ASAP. This quirky place is fabulous. The hot tub and night life could use some Jazz music. Inside the units the decor is specific to each owner so it was nice. Thanks Shell Island Staff
