I love this hotel. I have stayed here once or twice a year over the past few years for the affordability, cleanliness, pool, hot tub, and location on my way up north. This past stay I noticed they are doing their best to keep up with increasing maintenance demands and decreasing profits.

The room needs updating. It was spacious and the beds were cozy but the room was tired and worn. I also don’t think fabric shower curtains are hygienic but the shower pressure was good. Nice and hot. The lobby bar is cute. Staff nice at hotel.

The room was clean.The bed was very comfortable. Extra linens and plenty of pillows. It was a junior suite so there was a couch and chair with coffee table. All in front of the gas log fireplace! Coffee nook with fridge and microwave. And I'm extra large bathroom with heated doing tub. Separate shower with multiple nozzles. Hot water was instant. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Excellent and reasonably priced. We love staying at The George! We've been her many times.
