Check in May 29th after being evacuated from our hometown due to wildfires. Lobby was fine, but the check in staff weren’t welcoming. asked for trolley. They only had one on the lobby floor. Said there were others around but didn’t know where they were… blamed it on hotel guests for not bringing them back… Got into rooms, (I reserved 2 for 5 days) Room that mother in law was staying in had red stains on the shower curtain, floors left our socks and feet black in both rooms… and our room had a “sticky spot” next to one of the beds. our room has zero consistent shower temperature regulation. Warm one second cold the other. There was very visible damage in both rooms to fridges, furniture and tvs so we took pictures for our peace of mind. Zero check ins from anyone in housekeeping to see if anything was needed, went to a grocery store and purchased garbage bags, coffee, sugar, and other necessities that should have been at least asked to be restocked. Especially when they have a policy card in our room that ensures everything is up to their standards and every few days someone is supposed to check in with us. went to do laundry, and the washer was giving us an error… (the other one was out of order beside it) the maintenance came down and talked to front counter staff looked at us and left. Front desk came in and said, just slam it. June 2, locked out of rooms, cards deactivated even though I informed front of late check out while we wait for our next spot to be ready.
