The West End room, located on the second floor in the Ludlow House, is bathed in light from the four stunning stained-glass windows along the wall which are adorned with Dupioni silk drapes. They offer an amazing view of St. Paul's Episcopal Church just across the street. The historically inspired décor complements the carefully renovated accommodations that feature a king-size bed and bathroom with a lovely, clawfoot bathtub and large, walk-in shower. It is located in Summit Street Inns, located in the historic West End neighborhood, which is comprised of the Ludlow and Sheppard houses, both historic architectural masterpieces.
Summit Street Inns was extensively restored to the highest historic standards from 2020-2023. It is now open to the public, boasting of 10 well-appointed overnight guest rooms and over-the-top bathroom accommodations exceeding any industry standard for luxury and comfort. The property features beautiful gardens, comfortable outdoor living spaces, event space and on-site parking. There is a billiards room and parlor, as well. All guests at Summit Street Inns also have the option of enjoying a complimentary breakfast at Founders Restaurant, just a mile away.
