Was given a key that would only unlock my room door, it wouldn't unlock the door to the building. So essentially I was trapped up in my room. Found this very strange and didn't see anyone else dealing with this issue and it was not resolved. I received the worst service of my life and asked for a refund and left.

The Acadia University is located near the main street of Wolfville. It was such a lovely campus! I particularly loved visiting inside and outside of the Irving Environmental Science Centre, which was so close to the residence building!!

Budget basic.

This is a dorm room. No frills, tv, or AC (very hot inside, fan can be borrowed with deposit). Bathroom is not ensuite (shared). Pool is offsite. It is a budget accommodation, but considering how basic, still feels overpriced. Staff initially did not want to honour my hotels.com pricing. The best part about my stay was visiting the KC Irving building and gardens adjacent to the building.
