I always stay at the LakeView, despite not having a view of the lake...Clean and quiet with updated rooms and good wifi, and a cold beer just metres away.

Fabulous place

What was not to like? Not expensive. Wonderfully comfy King bed, renovated, great shower and walking distance to the Lakeview Hotel for dinner. The Hotel bar prices were amazing and dinner was great value. Road noise a little loud in the morning but would definitely stay here again. Excellent value.

The location is convenient and my room was spacious and well appointed, clean and comfortable. It's close to a main road and there is a lot of traffic but it wasn't too noisy. The biggest inconvenience was that this motel is attached to the hotel, and because I was staying on a Saturday night the hotel was very busy, the carpark was full (someone was parked in the "dedicated" carpark for my room), and the check-in process is that you go TO THE HOTEL BAR! In this day and age that is just absurd, when it's packed with punters, to have to line up there to check in. How about a key safe? How about a door code? Never mind it took me 10 minutes to find the check in because I didn't realise it was at the bar. Improvements to be made.

Reception is at the bar and as efficient. The room lock must be worn out or damaged. It took both of us many attempts to unlock, both times we needed to. (Room 16) Rooms are very spacious, bed is super comfortable, tea, coffee, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery, pod machine...its all there. Carpet looked fresh, bathroom has a huge shower, freshly tiled but already showing mould which is disappointing. Strong bleach smell. Hotel attached is super value! $6 beers and wines all day every day. $15 meals too.

Amazing stay for a first time solo holiday. The staff were amazing to make sure I was well looked after for my short time there. I can confidently say that I will return and book with them again and can definitely recommend to others when they travel.
