I believe this hotel was refurbished fairly recently, and everything still looks brand new. Our room was lovely, slight noise from a night club opposite but ear plugs are provided. We didn't get any cleaners attending the room over our 4 days, so no extra tea bags but that's a minor criticism. The hotel would benefit in having a concierge service so that someone who knows the area can offer advice on general matters (we asked about trains and other services and were met with blank looks). On a better note, the breakfast was amazing, all freshly cooked and prepared it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel for all types of visitors, the location in the old town is perfect to see the sights.

The bathroom door was a fire door and you could hear people leaving it slam all through the night. Also, I booked the hotel because it said “laundry facilities “, but it was a paid laundry service instead

Lovely looking hotel, comfortable rooms and great location but wait until the night and expect zero sleep. Our room sounded like been in the toilet at a club. Bass reverberating through the room and even the supplied ear plugs!!

The only drawback is the loud noise from the street. I was on the parking entrance side of the building and the noise from people at the party across the street was going from 8PM to 8 AM.

All good, apart from the elevators which seem to have a problem with their computer. Several times they went the wrong direction or skipped the correct floor. Twice, they went to -2 instead of 2. Also, the room fan would not operate it would be nice if the hotel bar would stay open later than 11pm.

Aside from the modern luxury of the hotel, it was the close proximity to the Old Town which struck me. One small negative was when I decided to take breakfast one morning, it was quite expensive compared to taking it outside the hotel. I didn't go for the inclusive option at booking as wanted to explore local options on a couple of occasions. Was surprised too that the fridge wasn't stocked!
