This was a really beautiful hotel in downtown Wurzburg. It was within walking distance of everything and they had access to a parking garage which was convenient. The only drawback was we could not get a good WiFi signal in our room on the 4th floor. There was a chair outside our door, which allowed us to sit and get access to the signal in the hallway, but this was a bit inconvenient. I think the walls were so thick that it was difficult for the signal to penetrate in the room. Otherwise our stay at this hotel was wonderful.

The room was very clean in the bathroom was large, which is always nice. We had a supreme double room and appreciated having a larger area. It was also very quiet for being as close to the train and being in the city center. The breakfast buffet was very nice and I thought very reasonable in price. I loved that this is an old hotel but it has been very well maintained.

Glamorous Hotel in the Heart of the City…

This Old World Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of shopping, the centre of town and the Old Fortress. The room was beautifully appointed with a decor that was both practical and wistful. It was nice to have the small balcony to sit out in the sunshine not on our floor ( mainly for smokers convenience, but we used it just the same) …a very lovely stay indeed.
