Glad we chose to stop here!

We decided not to drive straighthru to our destination, and looked for lodging. After reading reviews we decided to stop here. Easy directions to get in, and check in was fast and efficient thanks to Lori at the front desk. Parking lot was in good shape and well marked and lighted. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom looked recently remodeled and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great, and hot and cold options were available. Checkout was fast and gentleman at front desk was super friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

Upon walking in the room, there was a cigarette burn in the blanket. I immediately reported my wife found a cockroach in the bathroom, broken glass underneath the sink and through the night we had cockroaches on the walls in the bathroom on the floor and on the mirror beside the bed the next morning, my wife lifted up my granddaughter shoe and a cockroach ran out

Here’s what I learned: if you need an accessible room, be sure to book one. Indicating you need a ground floor room at on-line check in is not sufficient. If you do decide to roll the dice on that one, do be sure to indicate you need a ground floor room for medical reasons. It may not help but at least you will have tried. This property has no elevator and the stairs to the second floor are very steep. The room was fine, I guess, if kind of dated, but since I couldn’t get my things up the stairs I left and went down the street to the Red Roof Inn, where both the rooms and staff are considerably more pleasant. Also, if you are in the room for an hour they will refuse to cancel the reservation. (They also couldn’t cancel it bc I booked through Expedia, which I expected.) Most of this negative experience was my own fault, which I fully accept and acknowledge, but the staff was so incredibly unpleasant than I would never recommend anyone stay here even if you CAN climb two flights of stairs. I have been using Expedia for almost two decades and this is the most disappointing experience I have ever had.

Old and needs repairs.

The room was very musty. Bathroom had surface issues with the tub, terrible repair work on trim around tub, and the shower kept going hit and cold. Could bot get a consistent temperature. My stop was one night on a long trip. I won't stay here again.

The bathroom had not been cleaned as it should have been. We called the front desk and told them and also that we had no shampoo. They called back to tell us that the shampoo could be found on the wall in the shower. But did nothing about the dirty sink and tub - and probably toilet!! It’s too bad, because it was a nice room except for that.

Hotel was clean. I did not like that the rooms were "walk thru". There was a hallway entry but the room had sliding glass doors out the other side. It was great for unloading/loading but did not feel very safe. The breakfast was non-existent. All of the things the check-in clerk showed me was not available when we went to eat. No biscuits, bagels, etc.
